Two examples of projects that have matured in a Kentron sandpit (in this case the Bodeker Scientific sandpit) are:

  1. Make my day: Make my day is an add-on for JIRA that uses a load balancing algorithm to plan user’s work days in a way that each work day has a similar work load and that tasks are always completed on time.

  2. The Centre for Space Science Technology (CSST): The establishment of CSST was run as a Kentron project and resulted in 242,718 shares being held by project participants in CSST.

One example of a Kentron project that is currently under way is:

CarbønTourism – Science empowering New Zealand’s tourism sector to transition to carbon zero.
